Mike wanted to go our and try various techniques for drift fishing and fishing on the anchor. We took 15 kgs of mackerel for chum and fed this out over the 4 hour period. Using a light 215/30 lbs class boat stick Mike added a small piece of shrimp as a tempter and immediately started to catch fish, mostly Red Grouper and Trigger Fish.

Once the chum started to pay off we are catching Barred Hogfish up to about 4 kgs and these are absolutely superb to eat. So once we had enough for the freezer we continued catch and releasing up to the point that we had to depart the fishing grounds for home.
